Jacques du Plessis Jacques was born on 17 September 1985 in Florida on the West Rand. His parents moved to Hartebeespoortdam where he matriculated in 2004 at Hoerskool Hartebeespoort. He never had any formal art education but from a very young age he had the impressive ability to create art. At Primary School he was well known for his ability to draw and his art talent. After school for about 2 years, under the influence of Christiaan Nice, Jacques learned about painting and preparing paintings. It was only in October 2007 that his first work was exhibited at an art exhibition. From the word go his work hit great popularity from the public and great art collectors. Now age of 24 years, it looks like Jacques will have a very long and prosperous future in the art industry.
